CALIFORN - I - A

We have some pretty great friends the Kelsch's. They invited us down to Malibu California with them to spend some time on Calamigos Ranch next to their spa. They are owners of Biggest Loser Resort. We stayed right by it in some cabins and this restraunt was a two minute walk away and absolutely gorgeous. This is a couch in the middle of the restraunt! We loved it! :)

Topsy Turvy!!!

So I needed some projects to do and I was so sick of my decorations but I just can't throw them away! This is a decoration I bought at Tai Pan a few years ago and I was sick of the purple grayish bottom and repainted it. None of these are anything to special but I like how they turned out! :)

My Dad made this shelf for me a few years ago and I love it. I was sick of the black because it collected dust so easy. I repainted it a tan collar. Just brightens things up a bit. Because my family does not think I am very crafty, here's a picture proving I painted it :)

I bought this vase at a yard sale a few weeks ago for $3 and I was so excited. It is so sweet. I spray painted it and I really like the color! Ah snap!

"Gary!"

So I named this little dude Gary! haha. I made him for my graduation ceremony. I was asked to write a paragraph on me and my career and where I see myself in 20 years. After that I was to make something out of playdough that reflected all of it. This is my little kid laughing with his big "buckies" sticking out! I couldn't have done this without my sister Dani's help! She is so crative like the rest of my sisters. I am a little more dry in this area. She knew exactly what to do and we went to work. We made him out of fimo and baked him. Not so fast thougth. We had stirofome (sp) underneath and we learned that you can bake it at the PREHEAT OF 275! :) haha. That is before it starts to melt and nearly blow! We had so much fun and laughed the whole way through it. We were so pleased with our result! So this is Gary! (Gaaaawwwrryy- sisters/mom inside joke!) :)

Paisley is here!!! I'm a "Half Mom"

March 15th @ 3:19 p.m the most adorable little baby was born :) PAISLEY JO- 7 lbs 13 ounces and 19" long. Oh my goodness, the first time I looked at this little girl was complete magic. I am so overwhelmed with my love for this little one. Through the pregnancy I continually joked as being her half mom but joke was on me. Everything changed when she was born and I saw her for the first time. It's crazy but I feel exactly that!! It is the strangest thing and I feel so blessed!

Listening outside the delivery room was the neatest experience I have ever had and strengthened my testimony of my father in heaven and his power on earth. What a miracle! How can anyone doubt the power of our creator and the love he has for his children. He truly is our father and we truly are his children! He loves us! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family and the best twin sister in the world! She is my best friend and I am so proud of her and her example to start an eternal family. I am so grateful for my parents and their love in bringing us eight children in the world. I have so many wonderful nieces and nephews and one more beautiful girl to add to the special bunch making her #16 (18- our little twins in heaven!)

I just had to share this picture! haha It is my favorite. Little Lilly got this doodle board for christmas and we have all loved having a turn with it. Especially Dani. She drew portraits of some of this and this was the big Winner. This is Kaeli and her pregnant belly. Gotta love it. Lots of Laughs!

Having Lilly with us for Christmas was SO FUN! She was completely hysterical and I miss her like crazy. I thought this picture was so cute of her and her Dad!
